Hey James, good to see that you've taken the plunge and posted. I'm Hannah - sooooo can't wait to get to Fernie and get stuck into the skiing, plus meeting you all, it will certainly beat working my ass off in the mundane city life. Bring on January!!

Hi!

I'm Andy, 28, and can't wait to get out of the office for three months! Very Happy Very Happy

I've been watching the internet for about the past 3 months, looking at all the lovely snow - can't wait!

If you've not seen it, you have got to take a look at this website: http://far.redtree.com

The wife (Sue Smile) and I will be flying out on the 20th Jan - looking forward to meeting everyone.

I've done about 8 weeks of skiing spread over many years - hope you're not all expert already (or it'll be very lonely in the bottom group!).

See you soon,
Andy

I work at Xscape at cas since it opened really so ive skied a little, but anyway yeah i will be 19 at the time we go,

i hope you've got some nice powder ski's to rock, if not i can recommend line motherships, i have the flite version and they are sick.

And i also read that fernie suffers from a lot of light so get your lenses right.

Hi Guys,

Ali from the NONSTOP office here. Thought I'd make contact on our spanking new forum, think you'll all agree it's pretty cool.

I guess you've all started counting down the days. Am very jealous, up until May I'd spent the last 7 skisons (you see what I did there?)in the French Alps, skiing, working and playing hard.

However, I'm chuffed to bits to be working at NONSTOP. I've finally found a way to combine my passion for skiing and seasonal life with all the benefits of full time employment, (namely a higher ranking on the food chain!)

The only advice I have is, go out there and have an absolute blast! And before that, try and get as fit as possible. It's not too late to start, just walk every where you can and run up all the stairs you come across (two at a time) between now and then. Even after a seasons skiing I can still feel the burn at the end of a full on day on the hill (and that's nothing to do with burning the candle at both ends for 5 months! Honest!).

So my count down starts here, only 95 days to go til I come out and see you all!

Take care, have fun and enjoy paradise.

Ali

I've only skied in Europe (and on piste at that!) so far - little need for goggles except for very occasional use on the last run of the day!

I guess this is going to change when we get out to Fernie, but I haven't got a clue what lenses to get. Sad

I'm thinking it's probably best to get some when we get there - hopefully the guys/gals in the ski shops will be able to advise...

Hi y'all

I'm Jo (31), me and my partner Simon (35) (from Newbury) will be going out on the 13th also. We're both dead excited and can't wait to get out on the powder that's been building for the last month or so.

Apparently the first day of the course is pretty much a shopping day, so stuff like goggles and other gear will prob be best to wait until then and get some advice off the locals.
