Hi Guys,

Ali, from the NONSTOP office here. Thought I'd make contact on our spanking new forum, think you'll all agree it's pretty cool.

I guess you've all started counting down the days. Am very jealous, up until May I'd spent the last 7 skisons (you see what I did there?) in the French Alps, skiing, working and playing hard.

However, I'm chuffed to bits to be working at NONSTOP. I've finally found a way to combine my passion for skiing and seasonal life with all the benefits of full time employment, (namely a higher ranking on the food chain!)

The only advice I have is, go out there and have an absolute blast! And before that, try and get as fit as possible. It's not too late to start, just walk every where you can and run up all the stairs you come across (two at a time) between now and then. Even after a seasons skiing I still feel the burn at the end of a full on day on the hill (and that's nothing to do with burning the candle at both ends for 5 months! Honest!).

So my count down starts here, only 95 days to go ‘til I come out and see you all!

Take care, have fun and enjoy paradise.

Ali

Hi guys,

Any other boarders out there going on the "master the mountain"?

Also any suggestions on Thermals - I have never used before, but with Banff histting some serious lows I thought I should get some. Any recommendations?

Cheers,
Pete

Hi everyone,

Yes I'm really looking forward to the course now - sorry Pete, I'll be concentrating on my skiing (i.e. 6 week 'Master the Mountain' course)!

Decided to buy any more equipment I need out in Banff. In terms of thermals, I have some from past trips but no idea if they will be sufficient this time round!

See you in a couple of weeks,

Andrew
