Hey Peps,

i'm heading out on 3rd too, so by the looks of things there should be a few of us around. Lets hope that the early snow keeps up for when we get there! Gonna be out for a couple of weeks afterwards too!

Has everyone sorted out their transfer yet? It would be cool to try and get on the same one??

.

Hey Ads,

My other half and I are also travelling over to Banff on the 3rd.

I have booked our transfer through www.banffairporter.com. We are on the 16:30 shuttle from the airport.

I think that means we have a little wait at the airport, but the shuttle before would have been cutting it too fine if we have any delays etc.

It cost about £50 for the pair of us 1-way I think.

Looks like there are a good number of us going early though which is cool.

take it easy,

Chris

Think i'll look into that then. I've misplaced my itinerary so can't remember what the flight times are or what time i get to Calgary. I'm assuming we're all on the same flight tho, so will look into getting the 16:30.

If we're all on the same flight and get to Heathrow nice and early we should all meet in a bar for a drink if anyone knows one in departures?

Hey Ads,

That will be cool to meet at Heathrow before we fly.

Dont know of any specific bars in T3, but theres bound to be one.

Send me a mail nearer the time or just MSN me and we can try and sort something out.

Are you guys gonna buy most new kit out in resort? I am hoping its cheaper, so thought about waiting, but not really sure.

Chris

Hey Chris,

That will be cool, will sort something out nearer the time.

Only kit i'm getting out there is the backcountry gear. Gonna buy a transciever and a shovel, and also some goggles as i broke mine last time i went boarding doing a face plant! It's a skill but i do it in style!
