Hi Phil and Jodi,

saw you were both from birmingham so I'd thought I'd say hi as I'm based in Dudley and going on the 6 week course in Banff on the 27th dec.

Last time I was in Banff they were a few good shops but as it was the end of the season all the clothing was womens XXXL! I would have thought at the start of the season they would be well stocked orcies were pretty good. I am taking what I need and will probably update some stuff and buy skis.

Shopping in Banff

Hi guys,

I can give you a little idea of prices over here, i got a set of Atomic Izors 9.7 a few weeks back for 350GBP, but a friend of mine got skiis, boots, poles for 300GBP.

Just depends on what you are looking for really, not sure on prices of boards though. Clothing can be really cheap to, but the base layers here tend to be expensive. I know of one shop Mondo Sports, where we get a discount on anything we buy in there which is so cool, not sure if they have a website though.....

Hope this helps you out a little, any other questions Question Smile

Suze thanks for the info will come in handy - the discounts sound v.good.
I finish work tomorrow so can't wait!!!!!!!

Less than 3 weeks now!!

See you on the 10th

Hi Jodi and Tom,

Haven't posted a msg for a while so thought id say Merry Xmas and happy new year. Noticed you were talkin about gettin fit, well dont worry tom i'll prob be the most unfit on the course however i have started running to the fridge now so that should help.
Im a boarder by the way and from what i can make out on the very confusing boarder/skier ratio thingy!? it looks like its pretty even - anyway i'll be buying some stuff out there, that is if i have enough money!!

See you soon - 11 days to go!

have a good new year

Phil
