 • NEW YEARS EVE PARTY
Ok Guys and Girls who are already out there or will be out there in Fernie for NEW YEARS EVE.
I have been given some info on places and what they are offering on New Years Eve.
The Central
They are having an electronic dance band called " Green Season " playing ( it is with members of the popular Kootenay band called Sobiet Union ) . They are also offering a 4 course meal for $ 70.00 which would also include the admission for the band.
The age range would be late 20’s and up, and is non smoking. There is a dance floor when you feel like shak’en it up!
The Pub
They are having a jazz & blues band with a midnight buffet tickets are $45.00. Again, the age range would be late 20’s and up, and has a smoking section in the back.
The Fernie Hotel
They are having a rock band, with a buffet mid evening and at midnight. For $130.00 it’s all you can drink from 6:00 till close. The age range would be 20’s and up, and has a smoking section in the back. There is a dance floor as well to get your groove on!
Don't forget to drink responsibly and don't forget the condoms.
Let me know what the low down is or if there is something else going on.

Thats good info to have, liking the sound of the all you can drink option! We have 2 friends staying with us in Fernie over New Years so we need to chat to them and decide. We are out there on the 27th and were just going to scope the place out. Would you need to book those things a few days before or could you just turn up on the night??

 Hi there Mr Shand,
This is so info that Pippa found somewhere.
"NEW YEAR'S EVE
Fernie is a great place to spend New Year's eve. Local bars organise parties which they sell tickets for well in advance. Dave, our course director, will ensure our group is at the best place for the night. We'll start with a special dinner before moving into one of Fernie's popular bars to celebrate the New Year."
So not knowing Fernie at all I guess I will be a good little sheep and follow the NONSTOP crowd....maybe Tori know's where we are going and you can tell us if it is any good.....
Include me as well, Out on the 30th Dec, 18 hour journey, Gonna be fu...ed like a bicht the day after.
