Anyone bringing Laptops? What ski goggles?

Wondering if anyone bringing a laptop with video editing software? I am pretty useless with that application but WILL improve before I get out there for some tasty movies of our skiing!

Also, be grateful for some advice on which goggles to purchase before I get out there. Only ever had a cheap pair of Oakleys and they were crap.

By the way, finding if you know what you want, ebay is an absolute winner.

If you want film editing try Sony Vegas 6.0c.

Its a little complex at the start but you get used to it and its fine. If you download the trial i can probably find a crack for you. Otherwise its £300 or something Razz

helmets are da bomb - one of the best investments ive ever made (almost as good as the boob job i got done in a thailand back alley)

check out www.skihelmets.com for heaps of info

yeh, im taking laptop too. dont have any vid editing software except what comes with XP. might keep my eyes peeled for the next warcraft/star trek convention and see if i can bribe a geek into hacking the mainframe for some good editing type stuff

rock on klingon

Definitely recommend a helmet - two years ago not wearing one resulted in a $2000 medical bill, a day in Salt Lake City hospital, short term memory loss for 72 hours and no more skiing that holiday.... Crying or Very sad

Think mine's a Giro, wasn't the cheapest but well vented and comfortable so no qualms about wearing it (on the practical side if not aesthetic).
