• The night before
Hey guys,
With less than two months to go i'm thinking about how im getting from cardiff to heathrow.
One option for me is going up the night before and staying in a cheap hotel.
Just wondering if anyone else is planning on that? few bevies and all that!!!

well that certainly sounds like a fun idea but the cost is going to be the worrying thing with that one. Im not sure how cheap we will be able to get close to Heathrow, but it might be worth looking into. But if we can find it fairly cheap i will definately be up for that.

airport hotels don't tend to be too expensive guys...and they have shuttles and stuff running to the terminals methinks!!
i'm sure there's a travel lodge or something about

Thats what sounds so great about the hotels! Otherwise it looks like i'll have to get a bus from cardiff at 4:45am if i want to be in heathrow before 9ish
4:45 is just way to early for me!

hey- i could be interested in getting hotel with you- coming up from swansea so 4.45 is even less appealing! There's definitely some cheap hotels around Heathrow- my parents stayed in one recently for £50.

Try a travelodge. I have managed to get a room for just over 20 quid.

hey,
My step-dad is currently working in slough Monday-Thursday. He stays in a travel lodge, apparently its cheap. Its only 20 miles from heathrow and there are direct trains from accross the road taking you to heathrow.
I'll be going up to slough on monday then from there to the airport on tuesday the 9th. If thats cool with peeps it would be cool if anyone wants a mission with me and my bags.
